Highlights of the Week: 10/30
Denton Guyer vs Prosper
The matchup between #9 Denton Guyer and #15 Prosper lived up to the hype this week as the game winning drive came down to the final seconds for Guyer. Prosper got the lead 23-17 off a Jacob Devenny goal line rush but a missed extra point with 3:22 left on the clock doomed Prosper. Guyer was able to march down the field and get to the goal line. After multiple stops by the Prosper defensive line, Eli Stowers got the play call to keep the ball and drive into the endzone. That tied the game up at 23 and Guyer was able to make the extra point to win the game 24-23.

Mansfield @ Duncanville
The game between Mansfield vs #2 Duncanville was a grind-out game until halftime with the Panthers entering the locker room up, 7-0. When Duncanville returned to the field, their offense reached the red zone behind QB Grayson James’ dissection of the Tiger defense, sending a bomb outside the hashes downfield. A few plays later, James weaved, dodged, and evaded three Mansfield defenders as he connected to RB Malachi Medlock for a cruise to the endzone, putting Duncanville up, 14-0.
This would end up being the drive that lit the fire for the Panthers the rest of the way, scoring another three unanswered touchdowns and winning the game, 35-0.

Plano West @ Coppell
This game was a back and forth affair from start to finish. Coppell started out slow and Plano West capitalized on a couple mistakes and taking a lead going into halftime. Through one and a half quarters of play it looked like the Wolves were going to pull away until Ryan Walker and the Cowboys offense made a crucial drive towards the end of the second quarter to cut into the lead. The drive culminated in this amazing roll out and touchdown throw to Anthony Black. The game came down to the wire with the Cowboys reclaiming the lead in the 4th on a KJ Liggins touchdown. With Plano West needing a score, Coppell LB Cannon Peters came in clutch with an interception to help seal the victory for Coppell 31-20.
Amazing scramble and pass by @10ryanwalker10 to @AnthonyBlack24_ to take back the lead in this back and forth game. Our score with 6:17 left in the 2nd @PWSHfootball 10@coppellfootball 14@GameOnSportsPro @friday_stars #txhsfb pic.twitter.com/zQL3po1Lr9
